Job Summary
We are looking for a WordPress Developer to join our team and help build high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly websites for our clients. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both front-end and back-end development, including theme and plugin customization, website performance optimization, and security enhancements. This role requires a combination of technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving ability to develop visually appealing and functional websites that align with client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Development: Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites with a focus on performance and responsiveness.
- Theme & Plugin Management: Customize and develop WordPress themes and plugins to meet business requirements.
- Website Architecture: Implement site structure, navigation, and database integration for seamless user experience.
- Security & Updates: Ensure website security, implement regular updates, and troubleshoot vulnerabilities.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
- Testing & Debugging: Conduct website performance tests, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs efficiently.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Training & Documentation: Provide training to clients for website management and maintain proper documentation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to enhance website functionality.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience as a WordPress Developer (freelancers with strong portfolios are also welcome).
- Front-End Skills: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Back-End Skills: Experience with PHP, MySQL, and WordPress database management.
- Version Control: Knowledge of Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
- Testing & Debugging: Experience with Chrome Developer Tools, Firebug, and other debugging tools.
- SEO & Performance Optimization: Understanding of SEO principles and website speed optimization techniques.
- Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Communication: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
