Role Overview

We are looking for an MBA Finance Intern with strong Excel skills to support the Finance team in reporting, analysis, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial reports and dashboards.
• Perform data analysis using Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, charts).
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Handle day-to-day accounting entries, reconciliations, and vendor/client ledgers.
• Maintain clean, accurate books and support monthly closing activities.
• Track operations cost and highlight areas where the company can save without hurting delivery.
• Calculate project-wise profitability (revenue vs. effort vs. expenses) and flag deviations.
• Prepare dashboards for cashflow, burn rate, and monthly financial health.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and internal financial planning.
• Review invoices, payment schedules, and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Support compliance tasks—GST, TDS, payroll coordination (basic level).
• Help build CFO-style insights: financial risks, cost leaks, and strategic recommendations.
• Improve existing finance systems, documentation, and SOPs.

Requirements

• MBA in Finance (completed).
• Strong with numbers, MS Excel skills, spreadsheets, and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Basic understanding of finance and accounting.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
