We are hiring an experienced, on-site Project Manager based in Pune to own delivery for high-impact web and mobile application development projects. This role requires strong stakeholder management, hands-on delivery execution, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams to predictable, quality outcomes in a service-based IT environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery (Planning ➜ Execution ➜ Delivery ➜ Closure) for web and mobile application development projects, ensuring scope, timeline, quality, and budget targets are met.

• Manage stakeholders across business, product, engineering, and operations—facilitate requirements, align priorities, and translate business needs into actionable delivery plans.

• Drive delivery of projects built on WordPress, PHP-based technologies, and related web frameworks.

• Run Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives) and/or Waterfall milestones depending on project methodology; enforce sprint discipline and delivery cadence.

• Maintain and update project artefacts: schedules (MS Project/JIRA), risk & issue logs, RAID registers, status reports, and executive dashboards.

• Coordinate with clients (onshore) and development teams (offshore) to remove blockers, mitigate risks, and ensure timely releases.

• Ensure quality through defined acceptance criteria, UAT coordination, release planning, and deployment governance.

• Monitor budgets, validate change requests, and ensure profitability in a service delivery model.

Skills & Qualifications Must-Have

• 5+ years of proven experience managing IT service-based web and mobile application development projects (end-to-end).

• Hands-on experience managing projects built on WordPress and PHP-based technologies.

• Strong understanding of SDLC in a client-service environment.

• Experience working in Agile (Scrum) and/or Waterfall methodologies; proficient in JIRA and Confluence.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and client-facing skills.

• Practical experience in project scheduling (MS Project / Excel), risk & issue management, and leadership reporting.

• Experience coordinating distributed teams (onshore/offshore).

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.

• Must be Pune-based or currently residing in Pune (on-site role).

Preferred

• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).

• Experience managing mobile app development (Android/iOS).

• Experience in SaaS, API integrations, or enterprise web implementations.

• Exposure to financial controls, budget forecasting, and vendor management.
